Super Drift 3D Super Drift 3D

Rated 1.5 / 5 stars

Terrible physics and lackluster graphics

Terrible physics because for the greater part of the tracks I was able to simply hold the accelerate key and bump into the walls and I slowed down very little if any. The AI was rather boring as well, and made no attempt to try to catch up to me, as if its driving line was pre-programmed. The graphics looked rather decent for the most part, but there were many instances where I could see between the polygons and all the cracks. Decent idea, but not very good execution.

Out of interest, what 3D Flash games do you consider to have better graphics? Also, the Burnout style wall sliding is a design choice to make the game more fun for novice players. I could literally just change the friction value of the walls to make the car grind to a halt, but that wouldn't be very fun, and would result in a slower game.

Pretty friggin good.

Controls took a bit to get used to(such as preforming tricks). The game reminded me a lot of Line Rider but more real-time. An awesome game and truly deserves front page status.

Ugh...Awful

If this took you two you are kidding me. The graphics look like they were done by a person who has spent 2 weeks with photoshop. The voice acting is worse than Final Fantasy X. The platforming elements are an awkward mix between New Super Mario Bros. and Mirrors edge.

Kinda bland...

I understand that you only had a day to complete this in time for Robot Day, but what could could do is improve upon your game and either re-release it or do it again next year for robot day!

VicBiss responds:

Thanks, but I'll just do a better game for robit day next year :D

Awesome

The overall look of the game is great and is very pleasing to the eye. The gameplay could have used some work, such as more weapons and powerups to use. I love the engine and it reminds me of a early PS1 or MS-DOS game

Canabalt anyone?

This is basicly Canabalt with swords and more Freerunning bits. Not fun and it seems very poorly made.

Its quite blatant

Its just Geometry Wars, sure you may have EXPANDED on your series, bu in doing so you turn you game into a pure clone of Geo Wars. Even the ship looks just like it. Your stealing someones perfectly good Idea and exploiting it without even crediting the creators. 4 stars for the good effort though, even if it is a Ripoff.

Good, but not for front page.

To me, this was rather generic and somewhat bland, you almost always have a view of your character(If going fast enough) and the colors began to hurt my eyes, especially ones with pink. Also, more could have been done in the artwork department, Hell, a story could work too! Please take note of these points if you ever decide to make a sequel/level editor/map pack/anything related to this game.

Not that challenging

This wasnt really challenging to me but I did enjoy the concept! Just tweak a few things and perhaps you could release a level pack and level editor!

Holy crap

This was just sick! I would love to see a freeplay mode to where we could mess around with the various beats.
